Pricing
Simple, disclosed fees. The rate in effect when a contract is accepted is fixed for that contract.
Organizations
0% platform fee
Organizations currently pay the agreed service price. Any taxes and payment-processing details are shown before you fund a milestone.
Coders and agencies
10% commission
Deducted from the approved service amount. Example: on a CAD 1,000 milestone with no other fees or taxes, the commission is CAD 100 and your net is CAD 900.
Payment processing
Payments are processed by Square. Square's processing fees are deducted from the seller's proceeds by Square and are shown as estimates until Square reports the actual amount. ClinicalCoders does not promise guaranteed payout dates; Square pays out to your bank on your Square account's schedule.
What's not final yet
The funding model — whether milestones are authorized, charged at funding, or charged at approval — requires owner approval because Square does not provide escrow-style holding of funds until work is approved. Until that decision, payments run only in sandbox or simulated mode. Fee rates are administered as versioned policies and changes apply only to future contracts.
